Atlanta LGBTQ+ History Project

Atlanta LGBTQ+ History Project
Role: Co-Founder & Creative Director

As the Co-Founder and Creative Director of the Atlanta LGBTQ+ History Project, I shape the project's visual identity and storytelling approach to preserve and celebrate the history of Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ community. I lead the creative direction for branding, digital presence, and multimedia initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and impactful experience across platforms. From designing the project's website and marketing materials to curating visual narratives through photography, print, and digital storytelling, my work brings history to life in a compelling and accessible way. Through strategic design and branding, I help make the stories of Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ pioneers more visible, engaging, and enduring.

About the Project:
The Atlanta LGBTQ+ History Project
is a multimedia initiative to gather, share, and preserve the history and life stories
of LGBTQ+ communities in Georgia and across the Southeast. Through oral history, photography, and archival materials, we bring the voices and
stories of LGBTQ+ Atlantans to life.
The project comes to life through exhibitions, the Out Down South podcast, live and virtual panel series, and online materials. All project materials are archived at Georgia State University Library’s Special Collection & Archives.
